Love Letters of WWII portrays an epic love story that persisted during a tumultuous time that shaped the world, when brave men and women rose against fascism in the name of human dignity and justice. Through dance theatre and live, original music by Sarah Quintana, we bring to life the love letters between Yvette and Roger, a young French couple separated in the German occupation of France.
Love Letters of World War II is supported in part by the New Orleans Theatre Association, the New Orleans Tourism and Cultural Foundation, the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation, and the Louisiana the Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council, as administered by the RAC. Funding has also been provided by the National Endowment of the Arts. Mélange is supported by the New Marigny Theatre as part of their artist in residency program.
